Very wrong indeed... An irritated hiss echoed from him as he surveyed his surroundings. He was inside a building, that much he could determine. The lack of light was indication enough. Odd, hulking shapes dominated the room that he could not identify. They vaguely reminded him of the Goblins odd flying contraptions, but these were the size of air ships.
He stepped towards the closest shape and reached out to drag a gauntlet over the surface. The sound of metal on metal let him know that these were inanimate. He had no idea where to go or even where he was. This concerned him greatly. How was he to get back to the Queen?
He stepped away again and places a hand on the hilt of his sword as he became aware of a rattling sound. He stood still and waited for the noise again, but it never came... finally he moved again, accompanied by the rattling sound. This confounded him and he turned his vision downward to the armor. Nothing was loose that he could see. He moved again, finally identifying the noise from his right boot.
He lifted his leg and unstrapped the boot from the rest of the armor and turned it upside down to have some... object... slide out into his hand. Balancing on only the one foot, he examined the contraption and hissed again when he determined it had no relevance to him. He flung it aside, hearing it clank off another object and then skid away.
He strapped his boot back on and started walking in a direction. There was some weaving through the large objects until he reached what he assumed was a wall. He searched the wall he could see and knocked his knuckles along the wall, listening for a change in sound. His irritation and anger was growing by the minute. What place was this, why was he here. He was separated from his Queen, and while he knew the rest of the guard would care for her, he didn't like being away.
Finally, he drew his sword and drove the blade straight into the wall. After a second or two, he was greeted with the sound of stone and possibly metal falling away. Once he was able to move his sword a bit, he started sawing it to his left. Eventually, he met up with a support beam that he had run his hand over earlier. It took him several minutes, but eventually he was able to knock a piece of the wall out, with the bottom of the support beam.
Exiting out to a much brighter environment, Kalan recognized nothing and clutch the handle of his sword even tighter. His thoughts were interrupted by a very loud creaking noise and he swung his vision without turning, back to the building, where he saw the wall he had cut into sag down and inward. He recognized that the building was going to collapse and took off sprinting away from it.
Only a few yards away, the building caved in with a thunderous crash, shaking the ground and sending Kalan off balance. He slowed to turn and look at the cloud of dust and debris that were rising into the air.
