It was a good sign that the hosts of this event were prepared with the topics and subject matter right away, and that they seemed to understand the finer points of survival, right down to the vitamins. Rory could admire Lady Kasuga's conduct and control, and she held herself like an aristocrat. Those were definitely traits needed to hold sway over a group of potentially dangerous, frantic survivors and maintain order, but it still did nothing toward trust. She was simply too good at what she did, and Rory would be sure to keep her actions and words in mind.

Apollo had laid out their first subject quite nicely, and Rory was more than ready to respond. Sitting straight and tall in his seat, Rory set aside his tea for the moment, offering a nod to Tyr before speaking clearly.

"The Library is close to the ocean, and we've already made a successful expedition. Fish is a good way to vary the diet and boost the immune system, and along with that we've already bartered pelts with this group. We have skilled and capable hunters who can continue to offer animal goods, as well as alchemists who can help fortify living areas. Instant repair is a good start to rebuilding society as we know it." Rory felt himself grinning with satisfaction both at his group's well rounded skills and at the irony in his last statement. Society meant little to him in the long run- the main objective would always be to find a way back, but this probably counted toward his penance. Revive one world to save the other.

"And with a dragon such as ours, it's easy to see that we can hunt in bulk. Vegetables are still a problem as far as food goes, but I doubt that will last long, since we technically have a botanist in our ranks. Though it's unsure at the moment where she will permanently reside." It was difficult at that moment not to steal a glance at Ana, and mentioning her at all felt like exposing a sore, sick part of himself for all to see. Rory shook it off.

"Beyond that," he continued, taking up the tea again simply to have something to hold and focus on besides his echoing dark thoughts, "Kit has proved quite helpful in scouting. I believe we can chart more of the terrain between him and Nei'ess, who is constantly updating Solluna's map with his abilities. The sharing of information is essential for all of us to survive."
