Leirian made his way over to the fire where Hkina Hayden-Douriff was assisting Officer Miggx in breakfast preparations. At least, the youth was attempting to. Officer Miggx was largely ignoring the other's presence, perhaps having decided that the round-faced red-head was a woman, and somebody else's problem. Leirian was not so quick as he might have been a week ago to assume gender based on behavior, and so considered Kelly Hayden-Douriff to be genderless, just as he did Apollo Stardust, until proven one way or the other.
As he passed Hkina Stardust's residence, one of the other newcomers to their community emerged. Miss Connie, he recalled from Linex's brief introduction. He had not spoken at length to the woman, as she had chosen to spend much of the previous day in the company of Captain Duncan, and he had chosen specifically not to. He reached out and dug briefly into Linex's memories for a more proper form of address for the woman.
"Good morning, Miss O'Shea," he stated uninvitingly, acknowledging her presence in passing, but without interest or, really, any emotion.
"Officer Miggx, how is the food coming along?"
