A little sleep loss [Closed]

Setting: Zee's apartment

After they had gotten back to the fountain, Zeek had done his best to keep himself busy, taking on various menial tasks to distract himself. Lessa had followed at his heels after greeting him. The rest of the evening wore on uneventfully, and he didn't notice that the light hadn't changed until there was mention of 'bed'. Glancing at his watch, he was surprised to see how late it was, and trailed after as he was shown to a place to sleep.
That night, he couldn't sleep. Instead, he lay gazing at the small pin-pricks of light that came through the covered window, headphones playing quietly. Lessa shifted on the floor, and he glanced over, watching her for a moment, before lifting up his mp3 player and scrolling through his playlist. The soft glow illuminated his face, shining in his red eyes. Stuffing a hand in his pocket, he pulled out sucker, hand bumping against something in the process. Confused, he popped the sucker in his mouth, before grabbing the small journal that was hanging half out of his hoodie pocket.
Intrigued, he began to toy with it, looking through its various functions. For the rest of the night, he was thoroughly engrossed in the small device. When finally he did fall asleep, the light was still streaming in, despite the lateness of the hour.
