Zee had collected Flicker without incident and then they had angled out away from the fountain. Zee started projecting a feeling of concentrated "stay away", warning Flicker not to step too close to him since he was too tired to want to try to keep up an exclusion. It wasn't too hard to find Richie. Away from the cluster at the Fountain proper, the city was mentally quiet and he stood out all the more for it.
When they came within sight, Zee gave a tired wave and called out to him. "Hey-o, Mr. Crestwell. We came looking for you and for a missing woman. Any luck?"
