"I certainly plan on going. I figure you all wouldn't mind too terribly if I tried to represent us at a conference. We'll need to pick a second still, if anyone else wants to go." Booker turned as the door opened and smiled at Odessa. "Hi, honey, we're home."

Her introduction made Booker raise an eyebrow. Two new arrivals here this close together. Busy times indeed. More lovely ladies for him to work with , it seemed.

"Enchanted, m'lady," Booker said with a lopsided grin as he swept into a exaggerated bow to Tina. Their new guest was very pregnant, looking worse for the wear already, but generally fit and pretty. Whatever she did for a living had to keep her physically busy to stay in that sort of shape. "I'd give you a kiss on the hand like a proper knight but that would be generally ill-advised. I'm sure Miss Odessa has more than made you welcome already, given that you've made yourself at home. I'm glad."

The smell coming from the pot made his stomach gurgle. Dinner had been far too long ago for the amount of stress and running he had already done today. Booker came inside and settled down on one of the mattresses for the moment. He was rumpled and dirty, with the stubble showing on his face. At least his clothes had been patched, but a shower and a change of clothes sometime soon might be nice. And a razor if such a thing could be found. Appearances make a differences, especially for diplomatic missions.
