Character(s): Leirian, Tyrus
Content: Leirian offers to heal Tyrus, but-
Setting: Ana's broken hiding house
Warnings: Blood. Belligerence, likely.

Leirian entered the two story house, making his way up the stairs, and observed the broken hallway with a frown. He wasn't getting a very clear or strong impression of it, but he knew Ares's dog was past that break. He had been trying more, lately, to stay focused on the thought-feelings of animals and people he had never actually touched before, which was a lot harder and less reliable.

But at least in this situation, nothing was going to die if his magic backfired that would not already just from being left alone. Extending his thoughts into the house, he could feel the wood taking the shape of rooms. It would be easier to make a new door, than to fix the floor here, so he took a step to the right and placed his hand on the wall.

The wood, plaster, and wallpaper moved, not nearly as quickly as alchemy would have made it, but creating an opening big enough for him anyway. Stepping through into the corner of the room he saw the signs of Ana's metalcraft in the twisted floorboards, and Tyrus laying bleeding and still. It matched with the trauma on Ana's body, not just the broken arm from falling through the floor, but the bite and claw marks. The dog had attacked her.

Leirian approached with careful footing, even though he felt the wood under his feet reinforce itself as usual. Or, as it had before he'd first started training to hold it inside. With his recent instability, it had felt easier to go back to simply leaking magic wherever he went. As he leaned over Tyrus' body to touch him, his intention was not to hold his magic in, however. It was to will it not to work. Not to heal the dog, yet.

"Are you alive?" he injected his words into the animal's thoughts. Clearly, it still was, he could feel the failing body systems continue to do their jobs weakly. The test was for comprehension and responsiveness.
