Content: Hex looks for his sister
Setting: The library
Warnings: Well, now that Rory's here...
Hex trundled down the stairs, Micas first on his list to find. He figured she'd be the easiest to explain Rory's new... friend to, and most likely to help gather everyone else so proper introductions could be given.
He went to the most obvious places first. The sleeping rooms, the courtyard, the main floor. No sign of Micas. Outside the main doors, too, there was nothing.
And that was when he realized he hadn't seen Ana, either.
She knew better than to go out past the bounds of the library. Had she gone with Micas? Why would they have gone, just the two of them? Not let anyone know where they were going? When they would be back?
Something jolted inside him, an ache pulling hard at his chest, and his feet sped up, covering the distance he'd already gone and even rushing down the stairs into the basement and calling for her.
Nothing.
"Ana! Did anyone see where Ana went?!"
