Content: Ahime takes a morning walk
Setting: Hospital, third floor
Warnings: Probably just a lot of angst, and maybe some cursing

She hadn't told him. So far only Toy knew the truth about her own world, that her failure - the failure of the warriors - meant that home no longer was an option for her. She didn't want to do that to him on the off chance that it could possibly dash what little hope was keeping him sane, for she knew the creeping sensation of breaking sanity all too well at that point. She wouldn't - couldn't - willingly put some one else through that kind of pain.
But it was facing her, right then, in his hopeful words and tired, watery gaze, and try as she might the sobs and the trembles and shakes just wouldn't be held down.
"You have a home to search for, Katsu. That's not a luxury I have any more. You can search, if you really think there's a way for you to get home, because I wouldn't want to be stuck here either if there was another option. But this... this is... this is it for me."
