The other flier lighted on a roof and turned, nonagressive, inviting a civil conversation. Ares, having had time while flying to think over what a stupid thing she was doing, flying into an unknown situation, decided to take them up on the offer. She fluttered to break her speed and came down on the roof a few yards from the other woman, who, now that she got a look at her, was very destinctly demonic. Ares wasn't sure if that should please or worry her.

When the woman addressed her, Ares straightened up and folded her hands politely in front of her, Maglite held in the most unassuming way possible. ‘I followed because I saw a comrade being removed from our house without explanation, that I was aware of. I decided it was prudent to pursue in the chance that there was foul play afoot than to ignore it, as our last communication was one of distress. I apologize if I seemed overly aggressive. I wonder if I might inquire as to the nature of your contract?’

She considered for a moment and then dipped a polite bow. ‘Please excuse my rudeness. I am Ares, daughter of the Acheron and the House of Deville.’
