The red-headed woman in her arms seemed to be both crying and going insane. This was an interesting reaction, especially since she still did not plead to be release, though Mara could tell the woman most certainly did not want to be here. Well, too damn bad. If she wanted to be free, then someone needed to pay her debt off and that was that.

It was the winged woman that had followed Psyche that irritated her more. Obviously intended to meddle in this deal without knowing a single thing about what was going on. Well, either she could help pay the debt or if she attacked, she could make the debt worse. It would be interesting to see what she chose.

Psyche glanced down at the fountain. Only Kororen was there right now, tending a fire and surrounded by the bloody carnage of quite a few slaughter animals. The others were not visible. That was fine. This didn't concern them anyway.

Landing on one of the roofs, not the one she intended to make her home on, Psyche turned to face her pursuer, her prize still held firmly in her arms. "Well, what do you want? This woman here owes a debt to me and I am not releasing her until that debt is repaid."

Her head hurt and she was hungry and irritable, making her words sound snappish and short. She didn't have the patience for this right now...
