senioritis has hit bad and the gnomes have no cure
Until yesterday around noon I hadn't done any homework other than ceramics since last tuesday. i looked at it. i pushed it around with my finger. i carried it across the street and set it on my coffee table. and looked at it again. Its hard to be motivated when you're writing papers and designing an identity for 400,000 - 600,000 dollar urban living units. I just hope I can get through this semester without losing any of my scholarship; something I've managed to do for 4 years now.
Even now I've been doing only spurts of work for the past hour or so. I'd much rather be working in ceramics throwing on the wheel or out working on the personal project i have planned. Alas, schoolwork does have a timeline. Fuck it, i'm going to ceramics to atleast make two slip cast cups before my 7:00 class.
Other than the drudgery of school, work has slipped into quiet monotony as well, halloween was actually very low key due to the fact that half the bars in KC had halloween specials, and we, having none, brought in very few customers (for an average Friday night). Saturday night however got fairly stressful as four busloads of people showed up within 30 minutes of eachother. one being a 150-200 people church group. one being a 40th birthday party, and the other...I dont know.
