41 cm!

So it looks like we actually got 41 cm of snow today! Some of the cars on our street are buried. I haven't actually been outside today... too busy trying to study... but tomorrow I'm going on an excursion up Mont Royal to check out the skating on Lac au Castor. And if the skating's not great I can always just wander up to the chalet and look over Montreal all pretty and white.

Speaking of skating, does anybody know if the canal is close to being open? I really hope it's open by Christmas because I'm planning on doing lots of skating when I get home.

Today's been one of those painful studying days where I just can't find the motivation to start the 150 pages of readings I need to get done for my Monday exam. I think at this point I really don't care enough, even if it could be the difference between an A and an A- or B+. Courses that require lots of reading- especially where you're tested on the specifics of the readings- are never good.

I'll be in Ottawa on Wednesday. I have a list of about 5 movies I'd like to see and I'd like to plan a snowshoeing day trip, so if anybody's up for that or just grabbing a hot chocolate or doing some last minute Christmas shopping, let me know...
