Stupid shift change...
Question....did anyone catch the license plate number of the Mack truck that ran me over while I was sleeping?
My brain and my body are still stuck on night shift, so I'm averaging about 3 hours of sleep a night. I come to work, slam 2 or 3 cups of coffee, stay pretty well dead on my ass at work, then comes shift change. Now I'm wide awake, because that's the time I'm used to getting up, and I'm wide awake till 2 or 3 in the morning. Wake up is 5:30.
The best part...we get to go through this every 2 weeks.
On a lighter note...been a good couple of days. Sat around with a buddy and smoked a hook last night, then went to the internet cafe and updated my virus scan definitions and Windows XP. Got back to the pod, cranked up Winamp, and took a big chunk out of the book I'm reading (Dragonlance War of Souls Trilogy).
**Brief hiatus for.lunch.**
Ran into The Boss at lunch. Now we have some kind of "NCO only" training event here in the office before we can go home...one could only imagine...
