Weimar

This girl here was my room mate, Annemarie. She got accepted into Stanford recently so I've dubbed her 'Stanford Girl'.

Germans are so anal about recycling/separating their trash...

This place was trippy as hell. There were neon blue and green lights glowing from the windows and a lot of young people aged anywhere from sixteen to twenty-two entering the building.. so.. since Weimar is boring as fuck (unless you're a history teacher) and the only disco in the entire city just happened to be closed while we were in town, we went inside. Surprisingly we met a lot of pretty cool people. They were messing with us at first, saying that they were nazis, then anti-facists, then communists... I don't know, but it sure did confuse the hell out of us. They explained that this house covered in posters and graffiti is just a place in Weimar for the youth to hang out -- they tie a bandana on the door so that it is always open and anyone can enter and leave any time, any day.

Side of the house.

We were on the top floor of the hostel -- stupidity was bound to ensue, and it sure did.
