Game on
Before I knew it, one semester has passed by in the blink of an eye and 2014 is about to close. More importantly now that I have chosen an advisor, I need to start getting serious. It is time for me to start taking responsibility of my own career.
I very well know that in my career I would need to keep up with literature and read widely to generate ideas for my own research but I have always procrastinated, complained that they are boring and read only when I needed to. All along, I have lived in the comforts of my boss' wings; relying on them to read and tell me what to do. I am just the machine that refuses to use my brains and obediently follows instructions.
I came all the way here to fix this problem of mine and this is the time to do it. I need to step up my game. This moment, before 2014 ends. My aim is to publish a paper by the end of next year.
