[Maia's been spending the past little while reading some books in the library. She's wearing something far more casual in comparison to her standard armour and helmet, although she still has her gloves on. Of course, that's mainly to hide the cut on her hand from her last encounter with Anna.
Perhaps Maia's reading all this because of guilt, nostalgia, to refresh her memory, or perhaps all three - but anyone who is familiar with Maia will most likely be confused by the fact that she appears to be reading medical books.
Or to be more specific, books on nursing.
It seems that human and Precurian anatomy both have a fair share of similarities, but the methods of dealing with sickness and the like are quite different. Why bother with testing uncertain medicines and practices when one could just use Eco?

[OOC: FANON TIME! In my fanon, Maia originally tried to take care of Gol and act like a personal nurse of sorts because the Dark Eco was making him sick. Aaaand during the process, Maia started helping Gol with his research and as a result the Dark Eco fucked them both up instead of just Gol. :Ib Derp.]
