In reflection, the LJ format felt more meaningful than the FB format. FB feels like a torrent of meaningless fluff. I wish I could filter every goddamn *share. GOD, people, if you're going to share something, at least contribute with your own perspective, don't just mindlessly and mutely mash the share button. Lots of old acquaintances I'm itching to unfriend solely due to their sharing habits, but I FB is such a convenient way to maintain that thread to the past that I'm loath to drop the axe.
