I understand some mixed people identify more strongly with one part of their ethnicity than another. I identify more strongly with my Chinese side than my Irish side. I understand that Obama identifies more strongly with his African side than his... whatever his mother was. Good for him.
It just irks me that everyone calls him a black man. I realize that racism is alive and well, and for some people, the African part of his racial makeup is something offensive.

Being MIXED is the way of the future. Once you mix the races, you cannot separate them. (Not without some sort of global negative eugenics program, at least) With each passing generation, the populations will become more and more mixed, and the issue of Race will become more and more meaningless.
The Future is This:
No Black.
No White.
No Yellow.
No Brown.
No Red.
ONLY MIXED.
Understand this, and discard the false notions where race makes a difference.
