I was reading an article on Cauldronliving.com and it mentioned that in Wales, Brigid was known as Cerridwen. I'm wondering if there is any truth to this? I can't deny that I've noticed many similarities in the two goddesses although, Cerridwen does seem to have a "darker" (more Crone-y) aspect than Brigid~
Has anyone run across this association (for lack of better term) before? Is there any truth to this claim?
