So I've decided to buy a PS3 some time soon, preferably NOW but since I have Anime Boston coming up, and rent to pay, I need to look at the huge ding that may make in my bank account before I shell out like 300 bucks for something that can afford to wait another month or year or so. I've decided to definitely get Assassin's Creed, the first one, because it's only 20 bucks on Amazon. But I do want another game, and now I'm at a loss of what to get. FFXIII is pretty, and had the world's worst reviews from hard core Squeenix fans, so 60 bucks for potential misery is not something I want to risk. But then again there's like, literally no other game that I seriously consider getting a PS3 for. I mean, if I want to play Dragon Age Origins I can wait until I buy myself a new computer after I get a job and after it has dropped to like around 20 bucks (or 30, something like that). Heavy Rain can wait because, it sounds good, but I'm in mood of an rpg and it cost, again, 60. I haven't seen good old Squeenix fun for so long (I blame them for not making stuff fun, but still, you can't deny the pretty, and I'm so in the mood for pretty.)
Why oh why isn't Tales of Vesperia coming to the US in PS3 form? Stupid Japan, miscalculating what Westerners would want. Well, actually, I'm not really a Westerner, per se, so maybe I'm just out of luck.
Maybe Squeenix would adjust Versus XIII in accordance to the horrible review that FFXIII got, and so make it a better game? But alas, we won't know until maybe 2 years from now. *sigh* My life is just one big waiting game when it comes to fun.
Oh, to conclude my terrible luck with Dell, I returned the computer for a refund and bought a new hard drive for my Mac. Except I need a specific screwdriver for my hard drive, and of course, when I ordered that from Amazon it's not getting shipped. I will have to wait until Monday for them to even maybe obtain it - which is stupid, because the last time something like this happened Amazon ended up not able to get the item AT ALL and I had to ask for a refund. I want the fucking screwdriver peoples, one that many many many folks use to, oh I don't know, upgrade their hard drives???? It shouldn't be this difficult!
So maybe everything will finally come together around my birthday? Hopefully? Oy.
