Okay, so I'm weak and bought Burning Crusade after I traded in my Phoenix Wright games. I've been trying to play Alliance characters lately and found myself to be bored by all of them except the Night Elf, because their starter area is actually pretty unique (as opposed to, say, ALL of the horde starting areas (not sure about Blood Elf yet because I haven't played them), which are awesome.) I think I'm just a very Horde person (or maybe I just find all of the alliance uber ugly.) I'm hoping the Draenei world would somehow change me and let me get interested in at least ONE alliance character?
Why do I need to play Alliance in the first place? Well I think it's good if I take breaks from my main on the horde side once in a while, as much as I love my troll shaman. In the next expansion pack I hope Blizzard introduces some prettier races. (Watch them give something awesome to horde and give alliance this pansy-looking thing.)
But I guess I can level to 70 now, not that I'm anywhere near that. And I can Jewelcraft. Yeah.
Okay, gonna actually go play now.
Edit: And after visiting like 8 servers, I finally found a PVE server which is not ridiculously Alliance dominated (population-wise) and also doesn't have insane inflation. Wow.
It's a fairly new one - Grizzly Hills. Lively place actually, on a Saturday morning.
Oh and Draenei starting area? Pretty awesome. I guess when they made them they listened to all the people like me who complained that Alliance side is boring and Horde side is gorgeous?
