Landels, and Philosophy about Love in Pixelated Peoples. Beware.
Didn't get in Landels. Ha, after waiting at the edge of my seat for a whole month, too! Oh well, too bad, it's not like I didn't get in Harvard or something. Plus, I have way way way too much shit going on right now to play an RP (Uh, yeah, about that screenplay....)
Speaking of RP's - I did swear off fanfic, but they're jumping at me like rabid dogs! I'm 100% pissed at my brain right now. I want to write about kids in art school but all my head's doing is yelling "go write that fic about perfect partnerships because you got so pissed at all the overly-lovey-dovey crap you encountered when Chinese fanpeople got their hands on D. Gray-man." I used to really dislike the Balthier/Fran pairing in FFXII. Partly because I'm a Balthier/Ashe shipper, ish, partly because the blatant objectification of Fran, and then it hit me. I wasn't objecting to the fact that they might be having sex, I was objecting to the fact that they might be IN LOVE LIKE WHOA. I don't see their relationship as that, but more of a partnership, and once I see those two as a perfect partnership thing, hey, it's all good. (Now let's see how many people would TREAT them as one.) So now I'm like, holy crap, I wonder if I can write a Kanda/Lavi thing using the perfect partnership thesis, because it sure makes things a hell lot more complicated than just "zomg I love you blah blah blah." (Yuck.)
