Today mom came home, and I was happy, as I missed her. Surgery makes one feel especially lonesome! We bought presents for her birthday, and tomorrow we'll take her out to the taj mahal, yarr. & K and I are to see Art School Confidential, yarr, I am excited. And many other things.
Prevaricating on play, admittedly. Will get done, hopefully. I have been given a SLOT peoples, on fine arts night, if I can get it together enough. An exercise in who knows what - KVC does one woman show. Too late now, I think, to find someone else. Might as well finish it first, before I get too carried away. Fine arts night is around the same time Soc project is due, this is slightly irksome.
NEXT WEEK OPEN COTTAGE, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Better not rain.
AND I got an interview for the new frenchy's tonight, SWEET. It went super and I really want to work there too, more than winners, bleh! I love used clothes and .. oh, it brings me back to the Depannage! I hope I get the job so much, esp full time in the summer. I'm one of the few people who adores sorting old clothes, cause it can be truly delightful, a treasure hurt basically. Lots of yucky stuff too, but, hilarious in hindsight.
Very happy right now, more or less :) I think this surgey dealie has taught me a good lesson or two. Life is definitely worth living, and by that i'm taking the existentialist route - that you ain't living unless you're doing. When I was in recovery, still am, but less so now, the weakness made me feel so inert. Doing and just, taking every moment in, that's the best way. BE HERE NOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Man, I haven't drawn in ages, on a totally different note. & also Mr.Farmer returned the history boys to me after a month, and seems to have photocopied sections from it! Hallelujah! Mom and I debated on some of the bits in the play today. T'was fun. So good, so good. Other art stuff . . The stone raft is an amazing book. Just imagine, the entire iberian peninsula up and floating away from europe! as thousands of people lined up to see gibraltar off . . .
