First Day of Public Preschool
Emma: So, sweetie, today is your first day of preschool, and Mommy is going to make you a snack. You're going to have strawberries, and grapes, and Chex Mix. Is there anything else you would like?
Princess Leapling: Ice cream?
...
Emma: ...and that's exactly what happened.
Jumpie: Even still, it seems like ordering a portable freezer for Princess Leapling was a bit of an overreaction.
Emma: What would you have done?
Jumpie: Well, that is what I would have done, but perhaps a better reply might have been, "You can't take ice cream to preschool. How about some red pepper sticks?"
Emma: Next time, maybe!
