You only have to look at the sloppy original experiment to know it didn't hold water. But since it explains away hauntings, every skeptical "science" (quotations are ironic) type jumped on it and Infrasound became the buzzword to explain every instance and place of potential haunting for the past few years. Even amongst amateur "ghost Hunters" (also Ironic quotes)
To me it's always been another word for swamp gas.
