Actually, it isn't proven that the female orgasm is not linked to procreation. It motivates women to have sex just as the male orgasm motivates men. According to recent studies, the female orgasm may actually help the woman retain more sperm, which is obviously a link to procreation.

Right, but in the really broad uncited research I've done, there's really nothing conclusive about orgasms because every woman is different.
I've heard the thing about retaining more sperm but I believe that's more of a reaction in the muscles caused by excitement than orgasm.
Again, I don't know a ton about it, but for the most part it's circumstantial, and also for the most part, orgasm is not directly related to procreation.
Also, in terms of motivation, it doesn't much motivate a woman who hasn't had one yet. What motivates them AND MEN is the sex drive, not the orgasm itself.

mkay. I did some random research just for the hell of it, and there's definite evidence supporting female orgasm having a bigger effect than I thought. But for the most part, it is still SOMEHWAT unrelated, as it happens independent of pregnancy. Either the sperm hits the egg or not. For males it's whether there is sperm in the first place, which can literally make or break the possiblity of getting pregnant.
But here's the problem. You're all missing the point. I'm not trying to talk about the idea that orgasm may or may not be related to sex. I'm saying that since orgasm is somewhat less involved in the sexual process for a female, what does that implicate in relationships? Or in life? In politics? And don't think it doesn't go that far. The first step is to ask the question, not simply say "no it doesn't."
uhh okay. I didn't say i do treat them as an object. In fact I don't want to think of them as objects. I'm merely making the conjecture that isn't it POSSIBLE that it could be seen as a woman is an object even if it's someone you value rather than abuse?
Exactly where did you read that I think women are objects? I do not, nor have I ever, thought of a woman as anything else than another human being, and definitely not an object.
And yes, materialism is not a basis for doting. I should've added more there, or rather... Well, i left it really ambiguous. I'm sorry you got the wrong idea from what I wrote. But I never specifically said that I had a materialistic approach.
Personally the interpersonal relationship and emotional bonding you've described is one of the most important things to me, but I wasn't trying to talk about me. I'm trying to talk about points of views.

Regarding masturbation: It surprised me to find this out mostly due to stereotypes, although it doesn't surprise me as much now and I probably injected more surprise than I should have there. While statistically there are at least less women who masturbate (or admit to it), it is still common and I didn't know that until i looked it up

Also, if you hadn't skipped the first two words or the question mark, it would make a lot more sense. Just saying.
