so, I'm pretty annoyed. I started at a new store on Monday, yesterday was my second day. (I'm going to add that I have strep, and a cold on top of that.) I opened yesterday, and one of my shiftleaders was coming in for me so I could go to the doctors. I wasn't going to come back, but I did to give him a half hour break since he was working a really long shift. before I left he asked if he could run over to K-mart real quick (right by the store) to get some food. I said sure, of course. an hour and a half later I realized he had abandoned his job and I was up shit creek.

seriously, who does that?
