A German title, a totally new concept! For Winamp skins, that is.
Life's kept me busy recently. And I hate school right now but there's nothing I can do. At least if I really, really feel that I just can't drag myself to the next useless lesson by the most incompetent teacher on earth (hello, Mrs Will!) I can simply stay in bed. Yay for not working :(
But that also means that there is much therapeutic skinning going on and Zero is the latest victim. I wonder why this image wasn't skinned/made into a wallpaper yet. It screams "Put me on a Winamp skin and be done with it!". Which is basically what I did. I wanted to add a working equalizer but certain people felt it looked a lot better without those bars so I left it like this. Saved me two hours of work anyway (OK, so maybe not two hours. But, hey!). Is this considered NSFW? Given what sort of TV ads are running here I think it's OK but people have put that tag on a lot less suggestive images. I can't complain about much else this time. The volume button doesn't really fit and the buttons are an ugly shade of pink but all in all it's alright.
The skin itself illustrates what happens if you give a skinner an image of an angsty teenage vampire and a copy of the Elisabeth musical with the 2005 Vienna cast. The name, is the title of the most popular song in said musical, sung by Death (no, seriously). It means 'The last dance' in English. Uwe Kröger is still 'The Death' to me but Maté Kamarás is great. And Serkan Kaya almost reaches the greatness that is Ethan Freeman as Lucheni. Almost. Not quite. There is still an edge to Freeman that no one else has surpassed so far but Serkan Kaya is working on it. I'm thinking of getting the Jesus Christ Superstar version with him as Judas. Maybe for Christmas.
That reminds me: I got my very first Christmas present this year! Thank youuuu Usi! *chu* ^.^ I really didn't expect this! Somehow the whole month of November has drifted by and when my mother brought the Advent wreath (btw, is the tradition of Advent wreaths known anywhere else than Germany and Austria? I know it was a fad a few years ago in Mexico because it was a decoration in a telenovela but it came out of fashion again) she bought today, I was shocked! Tomorrow is the first Advent and I would have totally missed it. I haven't bought any presents yet either. I see myself running around the city two days before Christmas without a clue but mucho panikku. Just like every year.
I think I have to hide the parcel. The temptation to open it too early might be too much for me... ^^;;
And now off to decorate the wreath. And maybe the living room. I have great plans for that palm tree that my Dad has kept outside until the first snow last week... plans, that my father probably wouldn't approve of. Hehe.
Edit: LOL! (thought that Lockon is yummy. And Alle looks just like I think he'd look. But they'd need a different Setsuna)
