First: Thank you Usi and Kitty ♥ !!! Of course I didn't open the package and the card yet. After all, it'd be like opening the presents on December 23, ne? ;) But it's so nice to know that someone thinks about my birthday (I actually basically forgot about it myself *cough*). I hope you have fun at the Usi-con! ;)
I wonder if someone will be at school at all next week. Almost everything last week got cancelled for various reasons, for example because one of our teachers is really incredibly dumb. No, really. Three of our other teachers took it upon themselves to sort and re-calculate every mark that a certain teacher gave in our class because that idiot was unable to calculate them himself and didn't even notice that his results were simply impossible (Manu, I think it's no surprise if I tell you that it was Mr Stark). And around mid next week the oral exams will start and I feel sympathy for those poor people who have to take them. I mean, last year around this time I was an emotional wreck and most of them have to go through this the second time in a row ><;;
At least, now that I didn't have to study anymore last week, I had the time again to be creative! And I made a wallpaper. AND LOOK, IT'S NOT BLUE!!!
I think it's sort of summerly and reminds me of some sort of fruit cocktail. Kiwi-daiquiri? Anyway, I also think that Otomen needs more love because it's one of the greatest manga out there (if you have never heard of it: It's about a boy who has to act very 'manly' in front of others but truth is that he loves nothing more than girly things like reading shoujo manga, the colour pink and collecting plushies ^.^).
Yes, it sort of fits the weather. Although I wonder why on earth we can never have 'normal' summer weather. Either we have 12°C and constant rain as last week or we suddenly have 31°C and brilliant sunshine (today) and if we're lucky night temperatures drop to 20°C. Why can't we ever have nice, warm and sunny 27°C? Why only extremes? Meh -_-;; Oh, and I'm too lazy to convert the °C in °F, sorry. But let's just say it once again got from warm winter days to subtropical summer in just a few hours.
And now I'll take advantage of the beautiful warm evening and meet with a friend in the Indian restaurant in the next village. I'm sort of nervous because I'll 'meet' her baby for the first time (no, not her bf, her 4-month-old daughter ^^;;). It's still 30°C, so we can sit outside when we have our tandoori chicken :D. Can't wait <-- is hungry. As usual.
And later I'll start re-reading Harry Potter VI. After all, one needs to be prepared for next weekend, ne?
Edit: Is that David Bisbal I hear on the kitchen radio? Wow. Miracles do happen O_o
