Things I learnt today:

Alpine lakes are friggin cold.
If you fall/get pushed into one your heart stops beating for about five seconds. At least it feels like it.
Also, you suddenly know how Guinan felt in that scene in Peter David's Q² when she found herself outside of Ten Forward, looking in.

OK, I'll probably upload some stuff on the weekend (I got so many weird covers... gotta share them with the world!) ^^.

You mean The Book? Finished it Sunday night and, yeah, it finally canonized my secret OTP. Other than that I'll still have to think about it. All those deux ex machina events sort of annoyed me.

The Book, yar. Hazzah! Which OTP is that? But yeah, I loved it when I was reading, but the more I think about it, the more I think "that...was kinda dumb in parts."

Thanks! ^^ I do have the ambition to visit Santorini (at least) once again in my life but that'll take a while. In the meantime my favourite webcam will have to do. Saloniki calls!

I do admit that my super-sekrit OTP used to be Snape/Lily. I loved that part of the book best and I can't wait to see it in the movie *_* (I hope they won't cut it out). What I didn't like in the book were all those handy coincidences (the dragon at Gringotts, Dobby's appearance at Just The Right Time, dead!Dumbledore reveals the mystery...) a little less of that and a little less camping in the woods plz. Other than that I really liked it ^^.

Webcam, eh? I think I might have to go looking for this and stare at it instead of doing calculus. Sounds like a good use of my time.

Aaah! I had never really thought about the two of them before, although it doesn't surprise me much that they're all kinds of OTP. Woo. Hmm, yeah, less Camping in the Woods would be good, if I wanted that I'd go watch The Two Towers again .__< But definitely this movie should be good. I wonder if they would consider letting it go 3ish hours? Since there is an awful lot to fit in, and it's the last one and all...

The webcams at santorini.net are the best. And the left one (caldera view) makes the prettiest pictures ever. The right one is pretty too but Nea Kameni really isn't that interesting. The second best is the one at santorini.info. The quality isn't as good but it's sort of cool to watch all those boats, ferries and cruise ships ^^. And while you're at it, the PyramidCam provides fascinating pictures of the pyramids in Giza ever! <-- geek (as I type this, only the PyramidCam shows anything at all but I assure you they are working)

Well, they didn't mind the LotR movies be 3+ hours, I think they can do it with HP. But I'm sure they'll leave a lot out - the Remus-story for example, or earless!George. Things like that.

Ooooh. It's a bit...dark...right now, but that is the problem with being on the other side of the world. I will check back frequently.

Hm. If they left out Remus "I'm so out of character it HURTS, kids, HURTS" Lupin, I would not cry. But no earless!George would just be awful. You can't cut His Holeyness! (But you're probably right. That'd be easy to take out. Pleh.)

At least at santorini.net you can see the lights of Oia at night ^^;; Sunset at the moment is around 7 p.m. CET, that's 8 p.m. EET... early morning for you, I'm afraid. Or rather noon? What IS the time difference between California and Germany? O_o (Germany/Greece = 1 hour. Europe is so tiny *lol*)

Well... yes *cough*. I just hope they keep the fight between Molly and Bellatrix! That'd be awesome :D
