Down with hotlinkers! *shakes fist*
Closed down another of my sites today. It was the Anatolia Story site and admittedly, I had not worked on it since late 2003. But Anatolia Story is not a manga that attracts fanpoodles (unlike Akuma na Eros *cough*) and so I never had any problems with it. And then, starting last week, some stupid little bitch on some Spanish speaking Saint Seiya forum decided to use the Ankhesenamun portrait as her fuckin' user icon (that never showed up because of the .htaccess file but she's either blind or retarded. OK, I take back the 'blind'). Things like that annoy me BIG TIME and in a fit of rage I deleted everything but the (somewhat adapted) index page. Yes, why, I'm prone to rash and harsh decisions, online at least. Well, the site was unneeded anyway since the manga is out now. Still, it used to be one of my favourite sites because, as I said, generally it was never the target of the fanfreaks. Did I mention that for some strange reason the Pretear fans are a rather well-behaved bunch too? I think that's surprising, considering the target audience of the show and manga.
Now I almost feel guilty. I never wanted starry-sky.net to degenerate to become a winamp-skins storage site. Maybe I should make a German Saiunkoku Monogatari page. Or a Vampire Knight page. Or a Sakura Tsukuba fanpage. I'm still undecided. Well, I haven't got time now anyway. Maybe I can think of something until the Easter holidays...
BTW, Manu, I downloaded some Orphaned Land yesterday. I can't say that I love it because there is too much low grunting for my taste in most songs but I have to say that Black Metal in Hebrew is a... whole new experience ^^;;
