So, yes. Three years on, here we are again. I know this place is still a wasteland of abandoned journals, but I have my reasons. Chief among those is that I miss LJ; I miss long-form blogging and sharing, and for some reason running my own blog just hasn't really stuck with me. Facebook is social preening with little real content or discussion, Twitter is dumb, etc. I've spent the last three years or so overwhelmed with work, life, depression, and so on, so a lot of stuff has become pretty backed up in my head. I need a place to let it out, jot it down, and just generally word-vomit as I ease back into writing.
