(no subject)
I've been sick for the last week or so and i'm just now getting over it, and being able to stand up without getting dizzy, walking without getting a headache or having to run back to the bathroom are amazing things. My throat still hurts, but that's it. Thank you body for fixing yourself. I would also like to add that despite the treatable symptoms i've had, i have made it through them with nothing buy some ibuprofen to help with the aches and chills. That's a new thing for me, haha.
Dianna and I are volunteering to help our art teacher do an after-school thing at the arts association. It a class for younger kids, from fourth-sixth grade as far as i can tell. It's really cool, even with the mean ones (who are all girls). It's a bit odd how i like to do stuff with kids now, i always used to hate kids. I couldn't stand them, but i really enjoyed this. One kid in particular was neat. He's in fourth grade, he's a boy that chose to paint a butterfly over a dog or a monster truck because you can paint it any colors you want and it won't be unrealistic. He doesn't like cars because they are bad for the environment. He knows the basics of subatomic atoms and fusion too. haha. Well, at least that they go "boom" and that they are small. But yeah, the kids cool. It should be pretty fun.
We are going to be taking a water color class taught by Ken Umbach (http://www.decorgalrie.com/Meet_the_Artist.htm). He's really good. I've never met the guy though so i hope he's nice and not too intimidating. I'm not much of a painter.
