Status report: Nothing much doin'
Lol, I've done nothing useful all week day. \^o^/
It occurred to me today that it'd been a disappointingly long time since I'd been able to get my hands on some yaoi manga (what with a job with income being nonexistent right now...), so I downloaded and read Yamane Ayano's Viewfinder series. Her art is gorgeous, of course, but at first I wasn't too keen on the seme's classic "rape my way into his heart" strategy of getting his uke, but Seme eventually redeemed himself by pulling out all the stops to rescue Uke from the Chinese mafia leader who kidnapped him... Mmm, I do appreciate me some well-drawn smut. >:3
Then I made the half-hour trek drive to Petco for crickets and new tank-goodies for The Babies and played with them a bit, watched an episode of Bones, called eyesofshinigami , and almost had a heart attack.
=_=;;; Fortunately, I was able to get Appa out of there (after clearing out the whole damn tank) without hurting her, and then promptly blocked off that little area of "Hey! Let's scare the shit out of mom!" with some extra tank liner. God. Sometimes these guys are worse than children. At least children can't fit through the slats of a heating vent.
In other news, Xpyne gets back from Europe tomorrow ~♥! Thanks to weekly visits by friends from college, I haven't been nearly as lonely as I anticipated...and I think a month apart has been good for me and Xpyne, LOL. >_>
Uwaaaahhh, now what I really need is to get a job get back to writing get a job. D:

Where there is approximately ONE CENTIMETER of clearance, so you can thread the electrical cords of things like a waterfall or heat rock.)
