That's probably the thing that got me the most steamed up. I mean, I admit, I've naysay-ed pairings before because I didn't like them, but I would never, EVER do it in an open forum where people who follow that pairing could see it. That's just disrespectful and childish.

Yeah, I talked to Xpyne the other day. I'll have to relay the convo that we had. It was about the prompt that she gave me...I was thinking of turning it into a full-on fic because I was attacked by the flying smut bunny of doom. We were texting...and then she called me when I said something particularly...um...funny? XD Like I said, I'll tell you about it. Or she can. One or the other. o_O

I've noticed a trend with people who claim other pairings than 39 or 58 as their OTP...many of them have a) never read the manga or b) watched the anime before they read the manga. >_< And you're right...the manga PWNS the anime so hard.
