XDDD Tha~nk you, sweetie, I'm so glad you thought so! I also find Goku's powers and his ST-self a very interesting topic, which is a big part of what inspired this story. And I've tried hard to write a Goku which shows some of the maturity he has gained over the course of the manga--grown-up, but not too grown-up, and unconsciously sexy (because he is, damnit!). LOL

I wanted Sanzo to have the shit beat out of him, yes, but I also did a lot of research as well: deciding what bones were broken, keeping track of how long they would take to heal, and what kind of physical therapy, if any, was necessary for full recovery. I had originally considered having Sanzo's patella shattered (!!), but decided against any specific knee injury at all after realizing just a dislocation of the patella requires some serious recovery time and intense physical therapy. <-- I mean, come on, the knee thing was only supposed to be so he could have a sexy limp for a little while...

I naturally love to be very descriptive, even poetically so, but I do have to reign myself in and consider how each of the guys would see things around him and how he'd think about them. It's been a challenge, but an enjoyable one.

Gojyo can be a jackass when he wants to, haha, but he's also there for you when you need him. <3

And it means so much to me to hear you say that about my characterization. ::beams:: It lets me know all my hard work is paying off. ^_~
