Favourites of 2011 so far
So a friend was just asking me what are my favourite TV show/book/movies of the year (based on my compilation post here), and thought I'd post my response as an entry:
Favourite TV show
I'd have to say my favourite TV show that I've watched this year was definitely Battlestar Gallactica (I do feel like I missed out on the fandom, boo -- but it was nice to watch it all at once!), followed closely by The Guild (I'm going to have to seek out that fandom, because seriously -- SO OBSESSED. I crumbled and even tried to play WoW because of the show. Yeouch!)
Favourite book(s)
For books, I REALLY enjoyed re-reading the Uglies trilogy. I was disappointed with the follow-up books upon the first read, but this time I got to enjoy them since I knew what was coming. I also really enjoyed Vampire Academy.
Favourite movie(s)
For movies it's a toss-up, since I haven't watched many. I like the travel theme that I've started and hope to continue, and I loved Milk, and Jennifer's Body was fun (though not excellent by any means, but kind of addictive anyway). I have Netflix for another couple of weeks, so I need to get on more movie watching!
