Heroes:
Ted with his power under control is kinda awesome.
Sylar (/Peter) explodes because he thinks he's destined to? That's not lame.
Interesting that Sylar needs a reason to commit mass murder. It makes no logical sense to him.
God, Mohinder's hot in that jacket.
It's like Star Trek and the Borg - give Sylar a virus that won't let him access any of his powers. (Added after the episode - wait, why didn't they think of giving Sylar her virus?? Cool that she can locate him, but...)
Uh oh! Hiro and Ando walked into Sylar's hive! I have Borg on the brain now.
"I can hear you." OH CRAP.
Global TV fun fact: "Before creating Heroes, Tim Kring had never actually read a comic before" because of a reading disorder. Oh wow! How on earth did he create a TV show that's every comic book geek's dream?
So -- presumably everything everyone does is what leads to "5 Years Later", right? The only new things are whatever Hiro and Ando do differently. So on some level, this episode is boring because we know where it all leads and nothing they do (like Peter getting Claire to stay) will change anything. Yawn.
BAD Nathan, calling Linderman!
Awwww poor Sylar. He was ready to change!
I bet that star CAN protect Mohinder from the bogeyman!
"I can't kill someone who's asking for forgiveness." Aww.
COOL scene with Hiro and Ando and Sylar. THE SWORD IS BROKEN! O.O NOT the way I wanted them to change the past...
If Mohinder was born a few months too late, couldn't his parents have taken blood from the fetus while he was gestating and given it to his sister that way? ...
How is Petrelli mom working for Linderman when Claire was running away from him and his cronies? Is the Haitian Sensation loyal to Linderman and took Claire back to the very people Bennett was trying to save her from? My head hurts.
I just don't understand how they (Linderman, Petrelli mom) think the bomb will heal the world. Obviously they were wrong. If they didn't learn that from 911, and however other many countless examples history provides of tragedies that shockingly DON'T result in world peace, well... I guess there's no reasoning with them. Silly ex-hippies.
We have two bloodthirsty, ambitious moms here - Sylar's and Nathan's. Stupid Sylar mom for not being happy with a humble life for him. You want special? There you go. Enjoy your life sized snowglobe.
So now Sylar understands why he commits mass murder - become president, have full U.S. of A. backup for seeking out and killing the Heroes. (Which I've been pronouncing "HE-rows" all night, a la Firefly.)
Hey, Future Hiro, why don't you try "Make Sure Peter And 'Splodey Guy Don't Meet, Save the World." Just an idea.
Overall, a "meh" episode. Which is still awesome for this show, but...
24:
MMMMIIIILLLOOOO, NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!
;_;
I liked him! He was hot! And angsty! Damn this show. :(
Also, that agent guarding Jack's door was tres hot - in the split second before he died. :(
Sweet that Milo sacrificed himself for Nadia though. He truly loved her.
;_; ;_; ;_; Oh, the wangst...
Note to myself: Survivor is on this week Thursday AND Sunday!
I wanted to be all done unpacking by tonight (last night really, but, yeah), but I felt really bad for most of the day and evening. I've done a bunch of tidying in the last couple of hours though, and most of the piles of crap are off my floor. I'm pleased! Still more unpacking to do, but good progress for one evening.
