There are a LOT of post-Nano sites. I can link you a bunch if you like. There's a NaNoWriYear, and NaNoEditingMonth (March), and many others.

Yeah I know those and NaNoFiMo but not this one.

I gave up on Nano though...

Oh really? :( How far did you get?

In truth, my novel isn't done either. But I'd rather work what I have now into shape. I don't plan to actually try to publish it before next Nano anyway, but this seems like a good exercise in furthering it along. NaNoEdMo sounds like it will be fairly active, too, so that should be fun.

I participated three times and all three times November turned out to be the busiest month of the year for me and I didn't have time to write at all. So I've just given up on it. I'll just write when I can and when I feel like it.

Though not as busy as Nano, there are always people doing it in other months. Perhaps you could try that if timing is the only issue. There's nothing like that kind of motivation and adrenaline to get you to write a novel in a short period of time. :)

Hmm that might be true but I think I just can't do it. If I force myself to write, nothing comes out. I'm writing something now but I'll write something, leave it for two weeks and then, in the middle of the night, I'll wake up and write some more. It's the only way I can work...

Hey, if you know what works for you and what doesn't, more power to you. I think the Nano thing is helpful if you need a push. Good luck!
