I got mail today! Lots of mail!
-
citibyrd: Thank you for your lovely card! I especially love the hotties on the inside. :D The penguin on Jensen's shoulder is soooo adorable.
-
sidndnancy: Funny card! I will use the wishes inside too. :)
-
redshoeson: Oh wow your card is pretty! Did you make it yourself? That is definitely going on my wall. I love the quote! ("If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there" - Lewis Carroll)
-
foresthouse: Aw, a doggie tree! Thanks for the kind words. :)
-
sweden_girl25: Swedish postage, cool! And WOW thank you for the holographic Harry Potter trading cards. Where did you get them?
-
snapdragon76: What a cute card! And such a sweet message too. Thank you so much.
-
katzk (from
holiday_wishes): Thank you for the lovely Russian Christmas card, and the St Petersburg postcard! They're both definitely going on my wall. :)
I also have pictures of my Christmas presents. In addition to the digital camera, I got a bunch of bath stuff, money I used for my DVD shopping yesterday, gift cards, chocolate I am trying not to eat, aaaannnndddd drumroll please...
Any Veronica Mars fans in the house? This is what I got from the
santalamb exchange, and I love it! A plushie lamb with one of my favourite Lamb references on the button. Hee! And the movie is an old one of Michael Muhney's (who plays Lamb on the show). I can't wait to watch it!
Two Texas cookbooks - the Tex-Mex one (from
katharine_carla) is also pretty much a history book with a lot of photos. So pretty and I love it! The other cookbook is from my brothers, as is the German language travel guide and accompanying CD.
Pretttty mittens from my parents, and a memory board and headphones from my exstepmom.
A gorgeous red bag, funky little bag, and two books (the good witch/bad witch and pocket mom ones) from my aunt, rebel women of the east coast from my dad, and an adorable soft journal from a family friend.
A really cool recipe binder (I've been wanting one of those!), lots of pretty socks, and a really soft eye pad thing for when you sleep. I've tried using that once and ended up yanking it off half way through the night.
Last but not least, an adorable handmade Christmas ornament from a Neopets friend, and a necklace from my exstepmom. I don't think you can see it well, but it's gorgeous. She picked it up in Venice this summer, so it's also a souvenir. *pets* It's exactly my style too. Funky and unique, as most normal jewelery bores me. Little known fact about me: I hate gold.
As I said, I got other things too, but these are the ones that made the picture cut. I'll do another post with all my hallmark ornaments ("myyyyy presssssshussssessss") when I get back from Ottawa.
I have to take off now and pack. We leave early tomorrow morning and return late Jan. 2. I'll try to update while I'm there, maybe with pictures!
Oh, and I finished Weeds season one today. Awesome, awesome show. I totally have a crush on Conrad.
