I LOVE this skit. So, so painfully New Kids on the Block 80s. So, so painfully awesome. Check it out behind the cut.
People have been saying last week's episode with Justin Timberlake was top notch, and watching
the other skits, I'd agree. (
Homelessville is my favourite.) If I'm up late tonight, I'll check out tonight's episode if it's new.
How are the holidays going for everyone? I'm housesitting (YAY!) until January 25th, so I'm just relaxing in this big house watching movies and reading a really good book (Red Mars). I'm almost done setting up my Christmas stuff here, and then will take photos (though I'm not sure how I can upload them without my computer).
Christmas this year will be like ones past. Tomorrow night to church (but no communion for me because that would be, you know, hypocritical), then my dad's to open stockings, then to my exstepmom's (my brothers' mom) to open one gift and sleep. Then the next morning stocking #2 and gifts at my exstepmom's, then back to dad's to open gifts there. I'm not sure what the plans are for supper and don't really care. There's usually a lot of family drama and consternation over who gets to hold Christmas dinner, so this year I don't want to hear about it. Just tell me where to eat.
Boxing day we always see a movie, though this year I have no idea which one it would be. Nothing really sticks out. Then boxing day shopping on the 27th and 28th (half priced Hallmark ornaments!) and then to Ottawa on the 29th for New Years. Sounds like a pretty good vacation to me. :)
What are your traditions for Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule/etc?
Also, I received your cards yesterday,
phoenix70779 and
misfit87 (I LOVE your Firefly homemade card; and the Magic 8-ball answer made me smile. It was a great idea!) Thank you!
Finally, I have one last Christmas song to share.
Christmas in Mordor, LOTR-themed, and composed and performed by our very own insanely talented
citibyrd. It is hysterical, catchy, and she has a great voice.
