Happy halloween!
This is the pumpkin I made for an event at work last week. I carved it in 30 minutes, but I did have a picture to help guide me.
I think I'm the only staff person dressed up at my work today, which is fine with me. I LOVE wearing my cape. I'd wear it every day if I could get away with it. I'm also wearing my Harry Potter scarf, my Cedric t-shirt and a S.P.E.W. button. I can guarantee I don't work with any Harry Potter fans, as no one's run up to me screaming their HP love. But maybe I'm just the only fanatical one here.

- Two shivering Neopets show up on your doorstep. Are they cold, or have they already suffered harrowing adventures though the evening is still early? You remember a distant tale about a spooky town of Neovia appearing on Halloween, and wonder if these pets - as many curious pets are wont to do - have braved the Haunted Woods to check it out for themselves. What must they have seen there to have come back so scarred?
"Trick or ... treat?" they murmur tentatively, the latter word barely audible. It's as if the thought of yet another trick on this unholy night was almost too much to bear. The promise of candy must be the only thing not sending these pets straight to their beds to hide under the covers.
You open the door heavily and wait for the pets to do something other than stare up at you, terrified. "What?" you say, and frown as they begin to stumble, fall, and scramble back up and then run, screaming all the while. Thankfully you slipped a treat (or a trick?) into their bags before they scattered off. But you wonder what it was about your costume that scared them so.
Only then do you think to look behind you.
"Oh no," you mutter, right before you faint on the spot.
