OH SNAP.
Okay, you know what my favourite part of watching Lost is? Reading and participating in
cleolinda's discussion threads. You know what USED to be my favourite part of watching Lost?
READING CLEOLINDA'S LOST RECAPS. She wrote her first one IN A YEAR last night! I'm beside myself with excitement. I so can't wait to go home so I can read that. And then watch then watch the Veronica Mars episode I have downloaded on my computer, and download the new Supernatural. And then go to a party where I can't drink much because I'm still sick. :( And then enjoy a long weekend, because despite my Americanized mind now thinking that Thanksgiving properly belongs in November, it's actually this weekend. THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!
Aaaaand now I have to get back to work. *cough* Two more hours, yay!
Also:
Lost casting news. If you're a fan of ... a certain cancelled show, you will be very pleased. And if you don't watch Lost now, you soon will.

1. What Hogwarts house do you think you'd be sorted into?
Gryffindor, with a leading towards Ravenclaw (like Hermione, though I was never as strict/stern as she is). Ravenclaw for the intellectual studious part, but Gryffindor for the (not necessarily physical) bravery. And for the heart, the kindness and the putting your friends first before anything else. Abiding by the rules until they get in your way, at which point, you still have morals, but you have no respect for some stupid declaration just because a bunch of people keep saying it over and over, if you yourself don't believe it's true.
2. Who is your favorite character?
I always used to give Ginny as an answer, because up until HBP, I saw a lot of her in myself. The shyness, the adoration, the unrequited crush. The girl who blends into the background (of Harry's story anyway), but has her moments where she pipes up and totally kicks ass. In HBP, well, I wasn't nearly as crazy about Ginny's character. I still liked her, of course, but she's become more someone I'd like to be rather than reflecting parts of how I see myself. She's all confident and dating mama and shit, and, well, maybe that'll be me someday. O.o But I kind of lost my love for the character. In her place... uh. As cheesy as it may be, I pick Harry. The hard childhood, the struggles with people's reactions to him, etc. I suppose I don't like the temper so much in the last few books, but I do like the character quite a lot and have much sympathy for him.
3. Who is your least favorite character?
Lord Voldemort. He's the big crazy evil who's cause so much pain for so many. He needs to be put down, NOW, motherfucker, YEAH. [/snakesonaplane austinpowers]
4. How long have you been a fan of Harry Potter?
Since the summer after OotP came out. I remember seeing all the squeeing and HP party recapping on my flist, and thought it was strange, but cute. I'd been wanting to read the books for maybe 4 years by that point, since they first got popular, but resisting because I didn't know if I wanted to get sucked into another fandom. Then that summer I borrowed my brothers' books and read all five of them -- yes, all FIVE -- in two weeks. While having a life, at that. And I was sold. I went to my first HP conference the next year, and went to two HBP launch parties when it came out. :)
5. Which book is your favorite?
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
