BAD MOVIE DRUNK FEST (It just needs caps, yes?)

Apr 12, 2006 23:29

In addition to my busy weekend, I also have a very busy tomorrow.

Morning: Main job.

Afternoon to early evening: Retail job. (MY LAST SHIFT!!!!!!!)

Mid-evening: Cabbing to a pub for a friend's birthday surprise.

Later in the mid-evening: Cabbing back to my house to host the BAD MOVIE DRUNK FEST (in the spirit of the previous Star Trek, Firefly and themeless pub versions). We will be drunk-heckling two yet undetermined films starring former heartthrobs RICHARD GRIECO (Cyn's pick) and COREY SOMETHING OR OTHER (my pick).

In preparation, I have been cleaning (or at least trying to make the house look nice) all night during the commercials of The Amazing Race and Lost. Speaking of which...

Amazing Race: I am SO happy that Lake and Michelle were eliminated. I really hated them. He's so bossy and blames her for everything, and she eventually buckles and just takes it. Ugh. They infuriate me. I was flipping out when cuties BJ and Tyler got a 15 minute penalty and had to wait to see whether they were in last place. When the 15 minutes went by and Lake and Michelle still weren't there, I threw my arms up in the air, snapped my fingers and yelled "YES!" Three times. Tee. AND yay for Ray and Yolanda making it to second place! :D

Lost: I totally called the Henry smiled. He loves that he riled Locke up, and of course he pushed the numbers. He knows more than he's letting on... I was surprised the Others didn't take the opportunity to push Jack around again. YAY for Michael coming back, and for the American previews that showed they are going to plan an assault on the Others. (Why am I watching the American channel? Were there Canadian previews? O.o) Did anyone else think that Kate was going to kiss Jack right before Michael stumbled out of the brush? Finally, Rose and Bernard are SO CUUUUUUUTE OMG. I loved how they were fighting and made up all teary-eyed at the end. They are the Best. Couple. Ever.

Now to decide between sleep or watching my finally-downloaded Veronica Mars. My first thought is "who am I kidding?" but then I feel the total and complete exhaustion in my body, and I think it smart to get at least, say, 7 hours of sleep before tomorrow. But that means I have to wait until at least Friday to watch the episode. That just seems silly.

... Ugh. I've decided to go to sleep. I'm just so responsible. (Not really. That's how tired I am. Stupid cleaning.)

ETA: I got up okay this morning. But now it's only 9:30 a.m. and I'm already getting a headache and feeling woozy. Must definitely employ teh Coca-Cola today.

rl, tv, lost, amazing race
