I know some people think the little images are lame, and I wouldn't argue strenuously otherwise, but I really do think they are fun and a great sweet idea that makes people feel ( Read more... )

Spike TV is Canadian? Wow. We get it here and I never knew. There's a lot of shows on there I like...

And congrats on the clover!

Oh shit. It mustn't be then. That must be one of the American channels we just get. It's all so confusing. Our Space Channel is your SciFi Channel, our H(ome and)G(arden)T(ele)V(ision) is your Craft Channel or whatever. But yeah, Spike TV must be American. Strangeness!

Thanks! :D

We have HGTV also. But it's neat that a lot of the cable stations we get, you guys can get also.

Really? Shit. I really thought that one was Canadian.

Sorry to burst your bubble...

There're probably plenty of channels you get that we don't.

Apparently there is a Canadian version of HGTV or something, helping to explain why I thought it was Canadian alone. ;)

Dunno. I know a lot of Cdn stations air a lot of American shows anyway. I'm not sure if HGTV.ca just repackages the American shows, or if they try to have some Cdn content as well. If they're passing themselves off as Cdn in any way, by law they should have significant CanCon (Cdn content), so there's probably original programming...

That doesn't surprise me. I mean, they'd have to do a lot of conversion in order for any of the measurments to make sense. We just love being backwards.

There are probably a lot of other channels like that, too...
