Lesion on nipple graft
Hey guys:
I had my DI with Raphael in late December and both nipples have been doing well. However, last night I noticed a very small lesion--about the size of a sliver of a fingernail right on the border of the graft and where it meets my chest. A few hours later it started to leak a tiny bit of blood. I squeezed it a bit when I was trying to get a better look at it and it produced a bit of pus and a bunch of blood. It's since calmed down and now I'm wondering if that's happened to anyone. I'm not convinced it is/was a pimple but don't really have any other explanation. Maybe an old stitch trying to work its way out?
Of course, I e-mailed my surgeon, but I also want to check here to see if anyone has advice.
