My phone is kaput.
So, I need a new one, and Asurion refuses to replace it.
One thought I have that would save me money on my monthly bills: Switching to T-Mobile. I could get a Motorola V195, Renew, RAZR V3, or W490 for pretty cheap. Thoughts on the phones or T-Mobile? My roommate uses them, and has a RAZR, which she likes. She's never had problems with the phone or the service, and says she's gotten better reception in the house with the RAZR than with anything else. (There are a bunch of Nokia's and such as well, but someone told me Motorola and LG were the best, I think.)
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to get companies to wave the one-time connection fees if they're going to get your business from another network? This is all money I don't have, but I have a non-functional phone, so I kind of have to pay for this. And it looks like maybe I might not even have to lock into a contract at all with T-Mobile, which would be awesome.
In related news, anyone know how to back up my very basic LG so I don't have to re-type all my contacts and such?
