Word of the Day:
Inerdia In other news,
Domori chocolate is yummy.
I have developed a total addiction to book swap sites. I'm a member of
Swaptree (which also swaps CDs, DVDs and video games) and
BookMooch. I love being able to swap books I don't need for ones I want to read, and only having to pay postage for the things I sent out. Brilliant! They work differently, as well: with Swaptree, it's a one-for-one trading system. There are three-way trades as well, but you get an item for every one you send out. On BookMooch, it operates on a point system; so you get .1 point for each item you put up for trade, and get 1 point for each you send out domestically and 3 for international trades, etc. Mooching is 1 point domestically, 3 points internationally. So if you're offering books, you can send them out even if there's nothing available at the moment that you want, and then when something comes up that you do want, you can mooch it. It's neat.
I really do need to conquer the inerdia and get my ass to the store.
