088 : My first trip to the hospital!
OKAY. Now that I've gotten some sleep and am no longer trying to suck face with the keyboard, recap time. Last Wednesday I had a repeat of October in that I blacked out/fainted/whatever just after waking up, though this time there was an embarrassing side effect that my doctored said was worth being concerned over. Since she was on vacation, her office recommended a visit to the ER, where they decided to admit me right away for testing.
Over the span of two days they did an EEG, EKG, MRI, and a CAT scan, all of which came back negative. I still need to make an appointment with the neurologist to do an at-home test, but so far she's thinking it could be obstructive sleep apnea. That idea sounds better than seizures.
I'm not going to lie. Not knowing what the hell is wrong had me sobbing right after I came to. It's one thing to be frightened of outside influences, but you can't get away from yourself, yeah?
I want to thank you guys again for the comments. I was able to check my email when dad came to visit and they helped a lot in making my stay bearable. Special thanks to Suki for calling me~ ♥
